We are sometimes a bit absurd. It really frustrated us that the CNC routers we bought could not use a ½-inch tool, let alone do so efficiently and accurately without stressing the machine. So, with us being who we are, we decided to build the Fusion Pro CNC machine that can not only run a ½-inch tool but is also strong and rigid enough to actually break a ½-inch tool. We’ve broken plenty in testing and development.

That’s obviously ridiculous, bordering on stupid, but it drove us to build one helluva CNC router.

Rigidity AND Portability

Most CNC router frames in the hobbyist market are flimsy or nonexistent, or left up to the user to build. Industrial welded and concrete-filled steel CNC frames are rock solid — but they’re also insanely expensive, hard to ship, and nearly impossible to move.

The Fusion Pro CNC frame is a bolt-together, self-registering structure with an integrated table that’s easy to assemble and nearly as rigid as a welded frame. We hold tolerances to ±0.10 mm (±0.004 inches) for precise locating and cross-bracing that performs as designed.

To handle the speed, power, and a full 10-inch vertical cutting capacity built into the Fusion Pro CNC router, you need an extremely rigid rail system. You can achieve rigidity through brute force with a massive, welded structure, or you can design and custom-manufacture an elegant aluminum extrusion that handles heavy loads without compromise. That’s the path we chose.

Rigidity is critical to a high-performance CNC machine. But mobility matters too — especially in a home garage or small shop. That’s why we added high-capacity leveling casters, giving you rigidity and portability in one package.

Accuracy

A true professional CNC router must be accurate. Whether you’re cutting complex inlays with multiple species of wood, making clean joinery cuts, or creating beautiful art, accuracy matters every single time.

To guarantee precision, the Fusion Pro CNC machine uses oversized 20mm linear guide rails, preloaded linear bearings, and Class C7 roller ball screws. This combination delivers smooth, repeatable motion for high-tolerance work.

Speed

Just like Ricky said, “I wanna go fast.” Our axes run up to 15 meters per minute (590 inches per minute), not because the Fusion Pro CNC can’t go faster, but because that maxes out almost all tooling capabilities for proper cuts. We tested faster screws, but the spindle became the limiting factor. We tested higher-RPM spindles, but then torque and cost became limiting factors.

What we built is the best balance of speed, spindle performance, and affordability. At 590 IPM, the Fusion Pro CNC router is faster than nearly all the cuts you’ll ever make. It’s thrilling, precise, and reliable.

Debris Exclusion

Precision components, such as ball screws and bearings, are durable, but no precision part can survive long when packed with sawdust, dirt, or chips. While most CNC manufacturers accept contamination as “good enough,” we don’t.

The Fusion Pro CNC uses a unique Debris Exclusion System that keeps rails, bearings, and drive components sealed and protected. This extends service life, reduces wear, and stretches lubrication intervals from daily or weekly to just once or twice a year.

Maintenance

Even with debris exclusion, lubrication is still required. Instead of forcing you to disassemble the machine, we integrated exterior lubrication ports. This allows easy, tool-free maintenance of ball screws and linear bearings — keeping your Fusion Pro CNC router performing like new with minimal downtime.
